Composer

A Composer creates original music for a wide range of media including film, television, video games, theatre, and concert performances. They develop musical ideas, arrange harmonies, melodies, and rhythms, and produce scores (written musical notation for all parts of a composition) for performers or digital music production. Composers blend artistic creativity with technical mastery of music theory, orchestration, and modern music production software. In the US, composers may work freelance or under contract with studios, publishers, or performing arts organisations.
