Digital Electronics Course
You will start with binary number systems and Boolean algebra, then progress through combinational circuit design, sequential logic, and finite state machines. You will learn to design adders, multiplexers, decoders, and full arithmetic logic units. The course covers memory architectures, including SRAM, DRAM, ROM, and flash storage. You will program PALs, CPLDs, and FPGAs using VHDL and Verilog. Signal integrity, power optimization, and design-for-testability techniques are also included. By the end, you will be able to integrate and verify complete digital systems at the register-transfer level.

What does a Circuit Designer do
Design and develop analog, digital, or mixed-signal electronic circuits by creating detailed schematics and selecting appropriate components to meet product specifications.
Simulate and analyze circuit performance using EDA tools such as SPICE, Cadence, or Altium to validate designs before physical prototyping.
Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure proper board design, signal integrity, and compliance with manufacturing and regulatory standards.
Test and debug prototype circuits, identify design flaws, and iterate on designs to optimize performance, power consumption, and cost-effectiveness.
